  • 2000-04-18: We gave a speech on ‘The Sustainable Wellington Net: Developing an Electronic Community Network for the Environment/Conservation Community’ at the ‘Flaxroots Technology: Claiming the Internet for Community’ conference. See our Newsletter #10 for a review and a copy of the paper.

  • 1999-11-25: Our Government Election Survey 1999 summary was published in City Voice.

  • 1999-11-11: We received 580 votes for being a great site, putting us at position 10 on uNZipped’s list of NZ’s top sites.

  • 1999-10-14: There was a picture of Buttercup and associated writeup preceding the Wellington Green Day in City Voice. Buttercup the cow was the raffle ticket ‘drawer’ at the Green Day: Her field was divided into squares and her first ‘deposit’ of the day determined the winning ticket.

  • 1999-09-29: Mike presented a paper on the development of Sustainable Wellington Net at the ‘Community Networking 99: Engaging Regionalism Conference’ at Ballarat, Victoria, Australia. See our Newsletter #6 for more information and a copy of the paper.

  • Wammo’s Mezzanine logo1999-06-09: We were accepted by Wammo into their Mezzanine listing (under Society—Environment), which ‘contained over 450 of the top sites in New Zealand and was a great resource for people wanting to surf cool NZ sites’.

  • 1999-05-13: City Voice published a ¼ page article with photo.

  • 1999-04-22: A brief summary of our site appeared in Contact.

  • 1999-03-12: Paul McGovern talked about us on the Kim Hill show. His site had a brief summary of the positive speech he made.

What animal has the largest babies?
